All models and actors are responsible for their own safety. Any casting notice that requires you to pay them a portion of a job you did not complete is not legitimate. These imposters copy the names of real companies so models believe they are real. Here is an example email:

CONCEPT OF THE SHOOT
Each Models will be assigned 3 different pieces of jewelries from all category of jewelries (3 watches, 3 necklaces, 3 rings, 3 bracelets, 3 Earrings), this means each model will go through 5 rounds of shoots on the same day. The total time for this shoots will be 6 hours with approximately 1 hour for each round of shoot and 15 minutes break between the rounds with the shoot commencing by 9:00 AM in the morning and comes to an end by 3:00 PM in the afternoon.
Also, different wardrobes will be used for each round of shoot which makes it 5 total wardrobe to be used, The total fee for the wardrobe is $XXX and Models are expected to pay for their own wardrobe, this wardrobe fee will be refunded to models in full on the day of the shoot. Information on how and where to get the wardrobes will be communicated in subsequent emails. The Photoshoot will come up on the 1st and 2nd of July 2022. The location has been determined but shall remain undisclosed for now due to security reason (as we will be transporting thousand of dollars worth of jewelries to the location of the shoot). Models are responsible for their hairdo but a Make up Artiste will be available on set. Tattoos are not a problem.
RENUMERATION
The total pay for the job is $XXXX for the shoot and the image rights. This means that the $XXX also includes the payment for our right to use all the images gotten from the photoshoot for our own advertising and commercial interest for the period of 6 Months. The $XXX in addition to the $XXX refund for the wardrobe will be paid to models by direct deposit, check or cash as preferred by each models.

In this email, the person is pretending to be the famous David LaChapelle. You can see from their email the spelling is incorrect, they have a "model coach on set" (clearly fake) and the casting is too broad.
